Chip 1 was made for the windows of Macy's Herald Square on 34th Street in New York City as part of the 'Art Under Glass' exhibit in 2006. It is a huge computer chip in a box. The background is a kind of circuit board pattern. The center of the chip is a screen that goes through constantly changing combinations of Josef Albers-like color contrast studies.
