Sandra Gering Gallery announces the final exhibition at our 476 Broome Street location. As of May 1st, the gallery will be located at 534 West 22nd Street, ground floor.
Commemorating our tenth anniversary in Soho and our upcoming move to Chelsea, Sandra Gering Gallery presents a group show that celebrates both past and future. This exhibition is not a retrospective of the gallerys history - some of the artists included are new to our program. Rather, it is a show that reflects the core of the gallerys conceptual and aesthetic focus. Among the pieces included are Window, John F. Simon, Jr.s most recent computer software panel; a new painting by Peter Halley; a light sculpture by Leo Villareal; a painting by Las Vegas-based artist Yek; and a sculpture by Jose Antonio Hernandez-Diez. During our ten years on Broome Street, we have consistently shown boundary-stretching work that expresses the technological spirit. It is with great enthusiasm that we anticipate continuing and expanding this program at our ground floor space on West 22nd Street.
